Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in the signed service agreement. Deposits may be required prior to scheduling materials or labor. Final payment is due upon substantial completion of the project unless otherwise specified in writing.
Failure to make timely payments may result in project delays, additional fees, or legal remedies as permitted under South Carolina law.
Scheduling and Project Timelines
Project timelines are estimated based on normal weather conditions and material availability. Roofing and exterior work are weather-dependent, and delays caused by rain, high winds, or other unsafe conditions may affect scheduling.
Cane Bay Roofing will communicate any delays and work to reschedule as efficiently as possible while maintaining installation standards and safety requirements.
Warranties
Manufacturer warranties apply to roofing materials as specified by the product manufacturer. Workmanship warranties, if provided, will be outlined in the signed agreement. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by natural disasters, improper third-party modifications, lack of maintenance, or structural movement beyond our control.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing, and Cane Bay Roofing reserves the right to inspect the property prior to authorizing repairs.
Limitation of Liability
Cane Bay Roofing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from delays, weather events, material shortages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability for any claim related to services provided shall not exceed the total contract amount paid for the specific project in question.
Property Access and Responsibilities
Homeowners are responsible for providing reasonable access to the property during the project. This includes access to driveways, electrical outlets if necessary, and removal of fragile or valuable items from work areas.
Cane Bay Roofing will take reasonable precautions to protect landscaping and exterior property; however, roofing projects inherently involve construction activity, and minor disturbances may occur.
Insurance and Licensing
Cane Bay Roofing operates as a licensed and insured contractor serving Berkeley County and surrounding South Carolina communities. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.
We comply with applicable local and state building codes. Homeowners are responsible for any homeowner association approvals or community requirements prior to project commencement.
